Competitive showing at the Car Barn Beamish Kielder Targa Rally

Car Barn Beamish were delighted to support our affiliate motor club at last weekend's Car Barn Beamish Kielder Targa Rally!

Organised by Hexham and District Motor Club, the Kielder Targa Rally offered the chance for crews entering both historic and modern vehicles to tackle the infamous 'Killer Kielder' rally stages. Set within the forest itself, the Kielder Targa Rally was again sponsored by the Car Barn while one of our INEOS Grenadiers was on call as an official course and recovery vehicle.

Congratulations to Steve Head and Phil Savage, their Ford Escort was crowned the overall winner by a mere 16 seconds over the 2nd-placed Toyota MR2!
