The 111R was top of the tree in the Elise range when it was released. Lotus took the 190bhp engine and 6 speed gearbox from the Toyota Celica T Sport and put it in their lightweight Elise. The results were a 0-60 time of just 4.9 seconds. There is a cam timing change at 6500rpm and the power really kicks in all the way up to 8500rpm it makes it very exciting to drive! 

The car has a huge history file, it has a full service history, mostly at Lotus. On top of the stamped book, the previous owner bought the car from Bell and Colvill in 2009, and has a receipt of every service done there in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. 

This car has the touring package fitted giving it sound insulation, carpet and electric windows.

'The Elise 111R is a really really exciting car to drive, once you stir the gear leaver and get the car 'on cam' it really flies. This is on top of the usual great Lotus handling they are so famous for. The addition of the hard top is a nice touch if you did want to use it during the winter. However to me this car is all about wind in the hair motoring. The car has so much service history it's a joy to read through. The previous owner had the car nearly 14 years and felt it was time to move it on'
